PDI’S THIRD ANNUAL CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DYNO EVENT

PDI’S THIRD ANNUAL CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DYNO EVENT AND TRUCK BEAUTY CONTEST DRAWS TRUCKERS FROM ACROSS THE U.S.

Performance Diesel Inc. (PDI) hosted its third Annual Customer Appreciation Truck Show & Dyno Event and first Pride & Polish Truck Beauty Contest on Friday and Saturday, November 2 and 3, at their headquarters in St. George, Utah. This year’s event attracted truckers from across the United States with more than 35 trucks entering the competitions.

The annual event, sponsored by PDI, gives back to those who support the company. “We host the event each year to show our customers, the trucking industry, and the local community our appreciation for their support,” said Jerad Wittwer, founder and owner of PDI.

The Annual Customer Appreciation Truck Show & Dyno Event is unlike any other trucking event in the U.S. “This is an attraction for truckers,” said Shaun Barney, PDI sales manager. “Every trucker who enters the competition wants their truck to run on the Taylor Dynamometer so they can showcase their engine horsepower and torque.” This year’s Dyno competition awarded trophies to the highest horsepower classes in Caterpillar, Cummins and Detroit.

PDI works hard to make sure everyone has a good time at the event. “This was my first time attending, and it was the best show I’ve ever been to!” said Paul Marcotte of Marcotte Farms Inc., located in Momence, Ill. “I’ve never been shown so much genuine care and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back next year.”

Spectators also enjoy the event because they can see the trucks polished for show, watch the most powerful trucks in North America run on the dyno, and enjoy a free lunch. “Thanks PDI! Very cool to be there today,” said Sara Lee Calderon of Riverside, Calif. “Man, the hamburgers were the best! Great looking 18 wheelers, hope to attend next year! Thanks again for the fun event!”.
